Happy poem

Look at it –
it’s happy on its cerulean blue plastic stool.

Wouldn’t you
with a bright chromium yellow bill

like that?
And ocher webbed feet

comfortably
sheathed

in extra wide
carmine rubber sandals?

Note
Written in the opposite mood to pull myself out of the bog by my own hair, so to speak.
