    Gazing at this painting gives a strange effect. While quite abstract, the circle device introduces a figurative element for me, and try as I might, I cannot escape a tendency to try to find an image I can relate to by way of response. This painting is greatly ambiguous. The colours harmonious and marine. G

    As I was told, it’s the artist’s attempt to copy a painting by Francis Picabia called “Ergo.”
