Strum

The numbness of work
falls apart
as Luca plays the guitar

At the office

A sonic caress
among computers
illuminated by fluorescent lamps

This is how another day began
in the evening

The pink plum blossoms
outside the window
and heavy drifting dark clouds
take on a different life

I’m getting ready
for the lone apartment

– James Steerforth

Note
The outcome of three words (apartment, began, numb) from 3 Word Wednesday and experiencing what this is about.

wow.. this ends on such a sad note,, but is seemingly based on a premise of beauty… i wonder if that was the underlying current of the relationship that is set to dissolve as well……

This makes me think of shift change.
“This is how another day began
    in the evening…” and
    “I’m getting reagy
for the lone apartment.” I like the melancholy note, and have experienced this at times. Good! G
