About steer forth!

This is my James Steerforth* blog.

This blog has undergone change since its inception in 2007 (my God, that’s been 11 years already!).

The “novel endings” I’d gotten started with (endings of novels without naming the title of the novel or its author, with an invitation to visitors to guess at or tell the novel and author) have petered out.

It is now essentially a blog with my own writings (poetry and short fiction), often sparked by literary memes, some translations of poetry from other languages, most notably German and Spanish, frequent excursions into the realm of music lyrics and some photography.

– Johannes Beilharz

*Pseudonym chosen based on a character in the novel David Copperfield by Charles Dickens.

Yvette Hines tagged me on my blog and asked me to pass it one. You can read my response on my blog. http://pbdiva.wordpress.com/

Here are the rules of this game:
    1. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
2.People who are tagged need to write their own blog entries about their eight things and post these rules.
    3. At the end of your entry, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
    4. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

Hey James, I feel lonely here. No comments, no views anyway. Sigh.

  4. Are you familiar with Goethe’s: Hexenmeister? That would be an awesome translation…! 🙂
